Let me introduce myself

This is my first post (I possibly will become soon a bit emotional)

Hi sweet ladies (and girls if you want to read me from time to time)

I’m in my very late forties (ok let’s be serious I’ll be 50 the next 30 December ) and I had the desire to start this blogging activity since years, but I never found the way to overcome the fear.

The fear of being judged:

“Fashion… such a superficial and material thing!”

or

“You’re too old to be a fashion blogger…”.

Ans many many other tough statement like this.

But then I took a look inside me, and I realized this is an essential part of me and my life.

My GrandMa was a professional seamstress: nowadays we would have called her a “stylist.”

She was creating the most amazing creations with her own hands.

The image above is a piece of the collection of her models that I have at home from years and reminds me how much she was essential to me

I’ll try to write a post at least once a week focusing in particular on shopping in your own closet enabling you start loving what you already have.

Being a super proud mom of two I want to do also something conscious for the planet and where possible start minimising my shopping and yours as well.

My mission then will be “Simplifying your life..at least in fashion.”

Most of the time, my blog will talk about style, but I’m passionate about beauty and organization so I’ll post here and there some content on these topics as well.

I hope in a year to reach at list one thousand subscribers. This will mean that I’m helpful and should continue to create content for a wider public.
